I compared it to Orphan Black, which is featured at the same time as Slasher. Under the comparison, Slasher is just not good at all. Bad acting, old story line, forced climaxes without anything really built up. Kind of like Super Girl compare to the Flash. Yes now since I have been watching I do kind of want to know who's the killer behind everything but if I knew the story was going to expand like this I would never have started watching this. One star is a little crude but proves my point.

The show completely forgets that part of why slasher movies are successful is that they give the audience someone to root for. There is no one to root for here. Each season is filled with absolutely horrible people for the victims, and even the killers don't have motives that make them sympathetic. After season 2 I grew to hate this show because of the characters and gave up halfway through season 3

Wow I spent a whole Sunday watching all 8 episodes, and let me tell you that I was left in disappointment this story has been done before call it inpiration or whatever idk if they were paying homage or just plain borrowing from all over the horror library, the acting was Really bad at the beggining but gets better as you keep watching, i was semi enjoying all this build up as all the secretes were being outted out and the killings were getting more intense creative hoping that they wouldnt go with the obvious in the end, but they freaking do! HUGE let down they go with the most overrated and over-used motive in the horror genre which wasnt really a motive? so what was the point of everything to just out everybody out so miracle baby could watch? Copy cat dont even tie up to the original in any way and neither does the lead i thought she left when she was a baby also the killer was suppoused to have rules rules that are clearly forgotten at last because even the lead sinnin what a waste of script! I just wish i wouldnt have watched the last episode dont think ill be checking out season 2, so much build up and no release it leaves you feeling frustrated, with lots of questions.
