I absolutely love Queen Sugar. One of my favorite shows. The story line is so relatable, and it feels like a personal family experience. To see how black people were handled back then and the struggles they faced is very similar to how things are now, still trying to fight what belongs to us. I look forward to each episode and season. Please keep this show alive. I love the characters especially Nova, she is so strong and continues to stand up for what she believes in despite controversy.

So relative, the relationships that is. To see personas played out in such a way that most if not all of us can take something away. Such grattitude or just plain old satisfaction, something you hardly expect from tv or any media these days. Oh come on, give credit where it's due.

This series paints the most refreshing depiction of blackness in all of its messiness. This, Queer Sugar, is what ensues after fervent prayers to see black people portrayed more fully on the screen. Ava DuVernay and her team are on to something amazing with Queen Sugar. I'm looking forward to seeing how this world unfolds.
