It's a pretty good series, considering that Catherine's fate was so tragic and that her daughter Mary was one of the worst monarch's England ever had. Catherine was besotted with the Catholic religion and was slavish and submissive to it, but Henry VIII was unnecessarily cruel to her. She endured a lot of cruelty, but tried to hang onto her dignity.
