As good a crime docudrama as you can get. Well acted and written, but what sets this apart is the narration by just one of the key investigators. Virtually every crime documentary has multiple contributors who are often very matter of fact. This series explores the raw emotion that detectives feel, and the toll it can take on their own mental health. It's heart-rending at times and you really see how much they care for the victim. Not all have 'happy' endings, but that's so in often life.

I love how smart these detectives are and its near impossible to murder someone without leaving something behind. I'm glad they got those creeps
