1 The Experiment Begins
6/5/23
This summer, adventurous celebrities prepare for take-off to the red planet, where they will live, eat, sleep, strategize and bond with each other in the same space station. During their stay, they will be faced with authentic conditions that simulate life on Mars, and they must use their brains and brawn – or maybe just their stellar social skills - to outlast the competition and claim the title of brightest star in the galaxy. The celebrities will compete in missions and will vote to eliminate one of their crewmates each week, sending them back to Earth. Cue the intergalactic alliances and rivalries. The 12 celebronauts heading to "Mars" include Lance Armstrong, Natasha Leggero, Marshawn Lynch, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Adam Rippon, Ronda Rousey, Tom Schwartz, Richard Sherman, Tinashe, Porsha Williams Guobadia, Tallulah Willis and Ariel Winter. Once on "Mars," this group of stars will receive interstellar assignments from legendary actor and Star Trek icon William Shatner, who serves as Mission Control. Stars on Mars will send these famous rookie space travelers where no one has gone before and reveal who has what it takes to survive life on "Mars".
2 Water Crisis
6/12/23
Just as the 11 remaining celebrities were settling into life on the red planet, a major crisis developed: their water supply has already run out! The celebronauts must replenish their water supply quickly because without water, they won't be able to shower, brush their teeth, flush the toilet or worse, they could die from dehydration…in the simulation, of course. See how the remaining stars handle this mission and find out who will be named "Mission Critical" and who will be sent back to Earth.
3 Fire in the Hole
6/19/23
Our 10 remaining contestants must brave the elements of the brutal Martian desert to find out who has what it takes to survive when an unexpected fire breaks out in the hab. This week's mission will test the stars' survival skills and will earn them the coveted survivalist mission patch. Depending on the success of the mission, the assigned Mission Commander will either determine who is "Mission Critical" or be at risk of being extracted and sent back to Earth.
4 Life on Mars?
6/26/23
Tensions are high amongst the nine remaining contestants, as the pressure of being away from Earth begins to take a toll. When the celebronauts learn a strange lifeform has been detected on "Mars," William Shatner from Mission Control tasks them with a mission which will test their perseverance and force two celebronauts back to Earth in a special double elimination episode. Watch as the stars are sent on a deployment mission.
5 Resupply Mission
7/10/23
Incoming message from Mission Control: four new celebronauts are about to land on Mars, but their supply craft has gone off course and crashed in the Martian desert. To make matters worse, it's split in half, causing two nuclear canisters to break free. If the seven remaining crewmates don't act quickly, the radiation will destroy their much-needed supplies and spread to the habitat, putting the mission in grave danger. Watch the stars rescue their four new celebronauts.
6 Leaks in the Hab
7/17/23
Four new celebronauts have landed on Mars amidst a micro-meteorite shower! The meteors have punctured the walls of the hab creating a large number of tiny holes causing the oxygen levels inside the hab to plummet. The 11 celebronauts will need to work together to plug the holes until the hab can be fixed. This mission tests the contestant's endurance and will earn them another mission patch.
7 Evil AI
7/24/23
A technological virus has taken over the artificial intelligence system in the hab, and two celebronauts are stuck outside in the harsh Martian climate. The hab's AI could sabotage the entire mission if the 11 remaining celebronauts don't act fast. The crewmates will need to work together to reset the AI software-testing their intelligence and earning them yet another mission patch-before it's too late! Find out if the mission gets accomplished and who is deemed not mission critical.
8 Solar Flare
7/30/23
Life on Mars is never easy! A series of solar flares have interfered with the electronics in the hab and the 9 remaining celebronauts will need to repair the solar panels, working fast before another solar flare brings dangerous radiation. This mission tests the contestants trust and will earn them another mission patch.
9 We Are Not Alone
8/6/23
It's Day 14 of the Mars social experiment, and the 8 remaining celebronauts have discovered they are not alone on Mars. The hab's radar system has detected an unfamiliar signal inside the habitat; someone or something is co-existing with the crewmates and could threaten their survival if they don't act fast. If the celebronauts can't prove their home is safe, they will need to abandon the hab. This mission tests the contestants adaptability and will earn them another mission patch.
10 Downward Dog
8/13/23
It's Day 15 of the Mars social experiment, and the 7 remaining celebronauts have yet another problem to deal with: the hab's house pet, RADDOG, has run away. The crew's mission is to locate and recover the missing dog. This mission tests the contestants bravery and will earn them another mission patch. Find out who will be deemed not mission critical.
11 Distress Signal
8/20/23
With only 6 celebronauts left, the mission on Mars is almost complete! Base Commanders are no more, and it's every man for themselves. The hab has detected a weak distress signal that all crew must investigate immediately. It's emanating from two separate locations, and they will need to split up into two teams to find the source of the distress signals. This rescue mission will test their knowledge and will earn someone another mission patch. Find out who will be deemed not mission critical.
12 Brightest Star
8/28/23
The five remaining crewmates endure their last days on the red planet with a suspenseful double-extraction, followed by the final three stars competing in a concluding double-phase mission. To be the last celebronaut standing, the surviving space invaders must correctly answer trivia questions from the hab manual and advance to the final challenge, where they must properly assemble a satellite tower and broadcast a personalized message to Earth. Find out who outlasts the competition and claims the title of brightest star in the galaxy.
