As good as TV gets! I was hooked just watching the eerie opener. Acting, cinematography, writing, soundtrack, this show has so much to recommend it. Make no mistake, this is not a wrap everything up in a neat little bow, sort of show. Every question you have that gets answered, will bring up 5 more to ponder, so if you are an instant gratification sort of person this will frustrate you. If, on the other hand, you enjoy lush storytelling, that doesn't spoon feed it to you, give this one a try. The only caveat I have is that it has been marketed as a zombie show. Do not watch this expecting gory special effects. This is psychological horror, with very little violence depicted. That said, this show has some of the most chilling moments I have ever seen.

I watched this show before A&E decided to destroy it with an American version (which absolutely sucks so much; they can't act!) This show is so awesome! It starts off slow, but by the end of the third episode it picks up. It's very suspenseful and even creepy. I love this show, I binge-watched from the third episode onward after stopping to make my husband watch it. The subtitles aren't even bothersome if you're used to them, and if you're not, you can at least rewind. I highly recommend this version!

Brilliant existential French horror with Mogwai's epic score is Les Revenants. Wrong purchase if dubbed into english. Luckily you caught it before Sundance started censoring and editing all its programming like pbs-no nudity or swears or even "ass and damn" plus 6-7 min commercial breaks with 5 of programming in between.
