Doc Martin: The Movies

Love, love, love it! Sad that I’ve watched seasons 1-6, but have to pay for seasons 7-10! Love Martin Clunes! His character is funny, sad, serious, dramatic and has a mixture of emotions that are heartfelt without him showing it. I love this show!

One of the best shows I've ever invested my time in! I love all the characters but was especially sad to see Aunt Joan leave the show. That being said, her sister's character brings it's own charm and interest to the show that I did not think was possible at first. Now I absolutely love her! My only criticism is that I find it difficult to watch the parts where Dr. Martin's character is unkind to dogs. I know he does not feel that way in reality but I still find it hurtful, especially after loosing my own, sweet little companion at 17years old. Kicking and yelling at them is like a dagger in my heart. I mute it and turn my head. British television is by far superior to what we have here in the US, at least to me. I am handicapped and rarely get to leave my home which is why your tv programs are so enjoyable to me . Thank you!!

The Doc's personality in the movie is hokey. I prefer the strong personality the character presents in the TV series.
