1 Angels In Paradise
9/14/77
The Angels may finally see the man they work for -- Charlie's been kidnapped and they must fly to Hawaii to rescue him. Mild-mannered Billy Shan is in jail; he and his tough--talking wife Leilani operate most of the organized crime on the Islands, and she wants to make a deal -- she'll return Charlie when the Angels have gotten Billy out of jail safely. Billy's escape does not prove difficult. His dishonest lawyer, George Hollis, persuades a judge to call Billy into court for a hearing, and on the way the Angels intercept the vehicle he is in. Now they tell Leilani they are ready to trade, but she no longer has Charlie -- he's been kidnapped from his kidnappers. The Angels now must negotiate with Mr. Blue, a gangster trying to take over Hawaii from Billy and Leilani. He is proposing the same trade -- Billy for Charlie -- but he intends to kill Billy as the first step of his takeover. The !angels have no intention of letting that happen -- they rather like Billy -- and so they try to learn where Charlie is being kept in order to free him themselves. In a massage parlor they learn who probably has that information: Mr. Blue's psychiatrist, Sammy Stanford, who is presently on a nudists' beach, lecturing on the evils of sunbathing. Kris goes out to speak with him, though thanks to the camera angle we are not subjected to any nudity. Kate Jackson, Jaclyn Smith and Cheryl Ladd star as the Angels, Sabrina Duncan, Kelly Garrett and Kris Munroe, respectively, who work for Charlie, an unseen and very sophis-ticated boss who phones in their instructions. David Doyle stars as Bosley, Charlie's harried assistant.

3 Angels On Ice
9/21/77
Just before the opening of a big ice show, the two stars, Jack and Helene, disappear, and since the promoter is a friend of Charlie's, Kris and Kelly start practicing their skating so they can join the ice act. Strangely, unknown replacements walk in who know the routines perfectly, so the jobs are theirs. Then the show's mechanic, who was working on the special trick rifles also disappears, and just as before, a stranger arrives who says he can fix the rifles. The Angels, trying to locate the three missing persons, follow the few leads they have. Billy, the slightly retarded training assistant, had spoken with men he didn't know, and told them, in exchange for money, where to find Jack after a training session. And from an amusing drunkard named Mason Fairchild, the Angels learn of the long, black limousine in which Jack and Helene were taken away. The big break comes when Kelly sees the limousine drive away from the arena. She follows the car to an Arabian restaurant, and of course, goes inside. Disguised as a belly dancer, she overhears a plan to assassinate the dignitaries who will be attend-ing the ice show, but unfortunately when the music starts she's expected to dance, and in doing so she is recognized and captured. Kelly is locked up with the other three captives; and she is the only one who knows what the plan is. Unless she can escape there will be a terrible shooting.

David-Doyle stars as Bosley, Charlie's harried assistant.

About this show

Intelligent, athletic and streetwise, Sabrina Duncan (Kate Jackson), Jill Munroe (Farrah Fawcett) and Kelly Garrett (Jaclyn Smith) are three highly-trained cops whose considerable crime-fighting talents were going to waste. But that all changed when mysterious millionaire Charlie Townshend (John Forsythe) and his assistant John Bosley (David Doyle) brought them out of obscurity and into his detective agency. Taking orders from Charlie's disembodied voice, the trio – now known as the Angels – takes on cases where a unique combination of police training and femininity are the keys to success. And whether going undercover in search of a killer preying on female race car drivers, posing as prison inmates to expose an extortion and murder scheme, masquerading as prostitutes, or joining the roller derby to find a ruthless menace, the Angels won't stop until the job is done.

Who doesn't love Jaclyn Smith and she is still beautiful to this day! They were all great stars for the time, and another fantastic ABC tv show!
