About this movie

Three high school virgins, suspended from school on a bogus graffiti charge, flee to the inner city in an attempt to live out the plot of The Catcher in the Rye. BINDLESTIFFS documents their struggles along the way as they surrender their virginities to vagrants, prostitutes, and crack fiends. Hot on their tail is Charlie, the deranged school security guard. Under the impression that the boys are planning a school shooting, he takes the law into his own hands to stop them and save America.

I'm a big fan of Kevin Smith's movies. Chasing Amy is one of my favorite all time movies. Red State- a great movie! Clerks, Mall Rats- both very good Not sure where Bindlestiffs came from. It is not wothy of Kevin Smith's support. Bindlestiffs is poorly written, a horrible story, but the acting is not too bad. I was hoping for a few laughs, but barely cracked a smile. If you can see this movie for $1.00, don"t!! Watch something else from Kevin Smith instead.

I laughed, I cried, and I cringed. Excellent!! This is a brilliant movie. If you listen closely and carefully you will see that the writers are very smart guys. There are lines that are off the chart intelligent. There is no question we will be seeing more of Loftin and Edison. I look forward to their next project.
