Rene Zelweger shines in Judy and deserved all the awards she got. The movie shows us what people can go through these days, making it timeless. The drama and the singing and stage dancing all work well. I just wish the movie had got into more of her life and films, especially Wizard Of Oz.

Our experience was heart warming and I cried many times through out the movie. Renee captured. the tenacity and spirit of Judy. Her portrayal of hope in the midst of despair and adversity was spot on! Her vocal numbers were synched well with her feelings. I watched Judy Garland often growing up and really appreciate knowing the rest of the story.

Was very much looking forward to seeing this film. While I have seen many other Judy films.docudramas, etc., this film falls flat and most of the reason is Renee Zellweger. The story itself covers only a very brief time at the end of her career and life. Renee Zellweger's performance never felt natural, but rather forced. I was much more impressed by Judy Davis' cover of Garland in "Life with Judy Garland: Me and My Shadows." I could not watch "Judy" in its entirety and split it over a few days.
