About this movie

A swanky garden party turns into a bloodbath when giant killer wasps attack in this blood-splattered horror comedy. Caterers Paul (Matt O'Leary) and Julia (Jessica Cook) venture out to a wealthy widow's genteel country estate to serve food at her ritzy annual social event. But it's the guests themselves who are on the menu when hordes of seven-foot mutant hornets crash the party. Combining tongue-in-cheek humor with eye-popping carnage, Stung is a fresh, funny, and frightening take on the classic creature feature, complete with awesome special effects.

I would descibe this as John Carpenter's The Thing meets The Fly meets Cloverfield. It has some great effects and you'll like it if you're a fan of creature flicks.

Very good film. It's a ride from start to finish. Grade B film, that is better the it ever should be, based on the subject matter.

IFC and IFC midnight usually put out pretty decent straight to video horror movies and indie films. This one has good gore in it humor here and there and decent CGI. It's definitely watchable possibly even a future cult classic. Maybe? I recommend it to any fan of solid B horror movies.
