"Extras" are fun fact pop-ups through out the episode. Similar to the VH1 pop up videos back in the 90s and early 2000s. This is getting 4 stars out of 5 because of technical issues: glitches at 1:30 minute in S1 e1, and because it's only available in SD.

Avatar is one of the best shows ever made. Simple enough for children to understand and complex enough for adults to watch over and over. Includes lessons from Buddhism and Yoga. Teaches that good and evil are not absolutes and violence isn't always the answer even when responding to violence. The choices we make shape our lives and our world. Also shows how to deal with difficult emotions. Dispute the awful live action movie, the cartoon balances all of this with a healthy dose of humor.
