About this show

Daredevil follows Matt Murdock, attorney by day and vigilante by night. Blinded in an accident as a child, Murdock uses his heightened senses as Daredevil, fighting crime on the streets of New York after the sun goes down. His efforts are not welcomed by Wilson Fisk -- aka Kingpin -- and others whose interests collide with those of Daredevil. Though Murdock's day job portrays a man who believes in the criminal justice system, his alter ego suggests otherwise, as he takes the law into his own hands to protect his neighborhood.

I loved every single episode of Daredevil. The action, drama and pace is brilliant. The show is very much true to the Daredevil comics so, Daredvil fans should enjoy it. The style of the show is a lot more mature, dark, gritty than mainstream superhero tv shows. Charlie Cox is very convincing as Daredevil, who fights crime, bad guys, struggles to keep Hellls kitchen free from corruption, his own internal battle not to cross the line by taking a life, and oppression from the likes of kingpin. Vincent D'onofrio (kingpin) gives a quite chilling perfromance as Kingpin. Wait until you watch season 2, it will blow your mind.

Actually, this is an excellent work and were it not for the fact that it's too violent for me and doesn't leave me feeling good about people, I would've given it the full five. Having said that, it's good, I suppose, that the violence here isn't glamorized like it is in most things we see: The violence here is brutal, ugly and frightening as it is in reality. Also, Fisk (his dame too) is incredibly easy to hate so you know the actor's doing a good job there; they all do well really, even bit players like the seamster. Play Store sometimes has jaw-dropping deals, so if season 2 ever goes down to what I'm willing to pay for it, yeah, I'll give it a shot :)

An amazing first series to one of Marvels' finest yet flawed superheroes. Brilliantly acted, impressive visuals and a gripping story throughout. Cannot wait for Season 2 to come to Google Play. Edit: Season 2 has finally landed!!!
