2006. Tony and Emily Hughes’ life changes forever when their 5 year-old son Oliver goes missing on a family holiday to France. A huge manhunt led by Julien Baptiste, one of France’s finest detectives, is launched. Present day. Eight years on from Oliver’s disappearance and the fallout has resulted in the end of Tony and Emily’s marriage. Tony refuses to believe that Oliver is dead and doggedly continues his search to find his son.

2006. Three days since Oliver’s disappearance. With little information to go on, suspicion immediately falls on a known paedophile living in the area. In the present day, Tony’s attempt to reopen the investigation gathers momentum as he and Julien finally find the first bit of concrete evidence.

2006. The investigation into Oliver’s disappearance continues. Tony can’t let go of his suspicions about the released paedophile suspect and is frustrated by the police’s decision to release him. In the present day, Tony and Julien are relieved that the case has now officially been reopened. Emily returns to Chalons Du Bois and finally begins to face the demons from her past.

2006. The case is thrown into disarray when a key witness is found murdered. Tony is horrified as he begins to realise that his generous benefactor, Ian Garrett, isn’t the person he claimed to be. In the present day Julien tracks down the dead witnesses’ girlfriend who has started a new life as a primary school teacher. He is intent on re-investigating the links between the dead witness and Oliver’s disappearance.

A masterpiece. Sucks you right into the story and makes you obsessing about WHAT ACTUALLY HAPPENED! Thrilling and emotional. Great acting by the French-British crew. Great directory and a creative filming techniques. A must watch.

When i first saw this advertized i thought "This looks good"...Boy was i wrong!!! This is not just good, it is by far the most well thought out gripping super, fantastic, excellent, brill, show i have ever, ever seen....pure genius. Please keep dramas like this running. This is money well spent.
