Emboldened by alcohol, the girls take off on a giddy adventure to the beach where they come across an empty car with the keys still in the ignition. The night takes a turn when Aisling takes the fun a step too far and Danielle is hit by reality.

3 Welcome to Ireland

Loose lipped from the tequila, Aisling skates on thin ice with her American client and calls Danielle to come and save her. Aisling goes back to Lorcan’s to find a sobering reality waiting for her.

4 Mallowfornia

Aisling can’t cope with the idea of a weekend alone in Dublin, so she gives in to her Mother’s demands and heads home on the train to Mallow. Aisling quickly realizes that you can run from your problems but you can’t run from the Gardaí.

5 Release Me

Aisling organizes a day trip out of the city so they can have some much needed sober quality time. Things go belly up when the girls miss their bus back to Dublin and all of the home truths come out in a raging argument.

From Deadpan Pictures, producers of the International Emmy®-winning Moone Boy, comes this coming-of-age millennial comedy drama following two girls, Aisling and Danielle, as they navigate Dublin and the perilous waters of adulthood. Aisling O'Dowd (Seána Kerslake, A Date For Mad Mary) would rather be shot from an actual cannon than change her routine. She's lived with best friend Danielle (Nika McGuigan, Philomena, Traders) all through college and ever since. They fit together like a perfectly constructed knife in its holster, protecting each other from the sharp edges of the world. But something is stirring. Danielle would never admit it but she is becoming less and less enamoured with the life they have created... The two girls have one thing in common - a fear of reality. They don't know it yet. But reality has them firmly on its radar.
