Watchmen

I dodged this movie for a long time based purely off of the mixed to negative reviews i have read since its release. Finally i bit the bullet one night when stuck for something to watch and really enjoyed it, sure it isn't perfect and i agree there are some scenes that that could constitute as bulk despite the movie leaving a lot of more interesting plot lines out but its a movie, and taken on its own merit with zero prior knowledge of the source material its probably one of the best superhero movies made. Forget the reviews and give it a chance.

I first saw this at a midnight release in my local cinema having seen the trailer & thinking that it looked really good, I was mistaken. The trailer was the best part & having seen it many times in the run up to the film release I find the actual film to be boring & just plain crap. I watched it again in the past few years, but my view was waiting to be changed, it wasn't. Will not watch it again.

when the world stands on the brink of destruction can one man hold the key. it is four minutes to midnight and their has been a murder within the ranks of the super heroes investigating one of the masked heroes attempts to enlist the help of the watchmen an aged and retired group of crime fighters outlawed and unloved in an attempt to prove government involvement. and avert the impending doom in this oh so good movie from warner bros and director Zack Snyder so lovingly created from within the pages of the graphic novel it was based on. SUPERB.
