About this show

This scripted true crime series recounts the police investigations into the infamous murders of Tupac Shakur (Marcc Rose, "Straight Outta Compton") and Biggie Smalls (newcomer Wavyy Jonez), two of the most iconic and influential hip hop artists of all time. Tupac and Biggie rose to prominence in the 1990s, fueling a highly publicized coastal hip hop rivalry before the two artists were gunned down in separate drive-by shooting incidents. This series is based on the experiences of Los Angeles Police Department Detective Greg Kading (Josh Duhamel, "Transformers"), who was a part of several task forces attempting to solve the murders.
