About this movie

From the streets of Chicago to far flung galaxies whirling through space, JUPITER ASCENDING is a science fiction epic adventure that follows the downtrodden Jupiter Jones (Mila Kunis -- Black Swan), who's destined for greatness. When a genetically engineered ex-military hunter Caine (Channing Tatum -- Magic Mike) tracks her down, she starts to glimpse the fate waiting for her all along -- her genetic signature marking her as next in line for an extraordinary inheritance that could alter the balance of the cosmos. Lilly & Lana Wachowski (The Matrix films, Cloud Atlas) take us on another visionary journey into the unknown. Also starring Sean Bean (Game of Thrones), Eddie Redmayne ( Les Misérables ) and Douglas Booth (Noah), this sci-fi thrill-ride will expand your universe. The battle for our world begins with her.

If you managed to give this movie anything more than 3 stars. You are a window licking-crayon eater. Sorry to say it but it is the truth. The sad thing is, it has a decent set up for a great cinematic universe. It just has no direction and all actors act like they were cut from cardboard. Just because it has a pretty boy, people seem to give it a great rating. Kind of pathetic, honestly

I really enjoyed this movie. Channing Tatum & Mika Kunis may have alot to do with it. 😉 I liked the story, the futuristic tech was cool too. Loved the part about the bee's, that was cool. I think it would have been better as a TV series. Then we could have followed the characters journey, Jupiter's search for her roots etc. His could fight for answers at her side while discovering his own truths. Etc Sorry for the ramble. Lol

First Twenty minutes of this film are amazing. If you want it to stay that way, turn it off after that mark because it is a sharp as heck decline after that. Some of the worst acting and characters are on display here. No good protagonist, and even worst antagonist. Twenty minutes in, hit mute, turn to the nearest wall, and try to imagine what the rest of the movie will be like. I guarantee what you picture is a million times better than what is delivered here
