Filmed over 14 months with unprecedented access into the inner circle of the man and the sport, this is the first official and fully authorized film of one of the most celebrated figures in football. For the first time ever, the world gets vividly candid and un-paralleled, behind-closed-doors access to the footballer, father, family-man and friend in this moving & fascinating documentary. Through in-depth conversations, state of the art football footage and never before seen archival footage, the film gives an astonishing insight into the sporting and personal life of triple Ballon D'Or winner Cristiano Ronaldo at the peak of his career. Honestly, I expected the story arc to cover more about his background; what led him to be the star that he is today. Yes, it touched on that. Some. However, there was a large amount of stating that Ronaldo is the best without explaining why. How did he become the best? I know he has a renowned work ethic but that was not shown. All in all, it was a flashy documentary with not much content, which was my original conception of Ronaldo, and I was hoping this documentary would help change that. I can admit that he seems to be a good father, which is what a lot of this documentary seemed to want to showcase. So, I did gain respect for Ronaldo, just not in a way that I expected.

Was hoping to see some exclusive and rare footage of the great Ronaldo; unfortunately, this movie is about the Portuguese winger cum striker Cristiano Ronaldo. The movie should have been titled "Cristiano", so that people don't waste their time and money expecting to see the Brazilian legend - the one and only Ronaldo.
