When they decided to marry just as apartheid was being introduced into South Africa, it caused an international uproar. Such a beautiful & inspirational true story. I was incredibly moved not only by the love that Seretse & Ruth shared together but also their determination not to give in to the racism & bigotry of the late 1940's. The movie is extremely well acted by all involved, most especially the performances of the two leads, David Oyelowo and Rosamund Pike. I loved this movie so much I will be purchasing it so I can enjoy it many more times to come. A highly recommended, A+ rated movie in my opinion. Don't miss it!!
