About this movie

In an attempt to escape the small-town blues, a young woman (Stewart) joins the military but ends up stationed at Guantanamo Bay. While the culture and climate of the camp proves challenging for the fledgling soldier, she eventually befriends a charismatic and eloquent detainee. Forming an unlikely bond, the two share their own attitudes and ideals, providing a new ethical perspective on a difficult cultural divide. 2014 Camp X-Ray Film, LLC.

Seriously one of the most boring movies ever. The story line didn't progress at any stage. It just kept repeating the same thing over and over again. You honestly feel like your watching someone pace up and down nervously wearing the carpet out but instead of it being carpet, its the "cells scene" and there pretending to watch over prisoners. As I said thats basically all they do the entire movie. And the end doesn't explain anything. They also don't even give any definitive answers as to why he is in there to begin with, which i find incredibly strange.... as I said at the start, its a complete and utter waste of time. . IMO Time you will have spent in your life, that you'll never get back, put it to better use people

This story is not about action, drama or huge social change. This is a personal journey into what makes us human. Some will love it, some will find it is not for them. I loved the way the focus was on people more then politics.

I thought it would be better. Start and middle was slow, but the ending was surprisingly touching.
