Winchester

Well that definitely was NOT scary. Such a pitty I was hoping finally a horror movie worth watching. It sounded good. But no what a disappointment. And what a drag. It's more of a drama thriller. This movie had potential. Pitty it failed to deliver

Sets let this down. Australian landscape not interchangeable with US 19th century parkland. Just a heads up on that. Aims for thoughtful supernatural thriller achieves talky low budget screamer. Two genuines frights.

If you have never heard of the Winchester House, this movie will have you hungry for more stories about the place. The film was made in Australia with an International and Australian cast. Helen Mirren, who is the splitting image of the the real Mrs Winchester puts in her usual solid role. She is ably supported by Australian Jason Clarke. This film wont change your life but it is entertaining.
