Meet Dr. Hank Lawson -- young, brilliant, and recently fired from his ER in Brooklyn for all the wrong reasons. Through a twist of fate, he now finds himself the newest "concierge doctor" in the Hamptons. Providing round-the-clock house calls to the community's rich and famous might be lucrative, but it's not without its challenges and frustrations. Along with his social-climbing brother Evan, faithful physician assistant Divya, and the beautiful local hospital administrator Jill, Hank must adapt to this strange new world of privilege and power, while struggling to find a way to do well and do good at the same time. Part 1 of 2.

3 Strategic Planning
6/18/09
Hank and Divya are called to the home of a wealthy U.S. senator, whose pushy wife Lilly Everett asks them to perform a discreet "executive physical" on their teenage son Kendrick, who will be Notre Dame's starting quarterback in the fall. Hank gives Kendrick a clean bill of health, but soon Kendrick's vision mysteriously goes blurry, his speech becomes slurred, and he loses consciousness -- and he eventually slips into respiratory arrest. Hank has also been treating, pro bono, a young -- and flat broke -- professional dog-walker, Benny, with a bite on his hand that becomes dangerously infected. Evan, meanwhile, has been busy trying to drum up more female HankMed clients by convincing numerous young women to attend a party the next day at the Shadow Pond grotto, but things don't go as smoothly as planned. Evan's efforts aren't entirely for naught however, as he also helps set up Hank and Jill on their first official date.
4 TB Or Not TB
6/25/09
When Allison Moore, the owner/head chef of a trendy Hamptons restaurant suffers a stroke, Hank attempts to save her from potential long-term damage, but she goes missing before treatment is administered. Meanwhile, Evan and Divya attempt to define their roles in HankMed. After deciding to take their relationship slowly, Hank and Jill have brunch -- on what would have been Hank's wedding day.
5 No Man Is an Island
7/9/09
Just as Hank and Jill's relationship is beginning to blossom, he and Evan take a weekend-long assignment -- as doctor and nanny, respectively -- with the wealthy Grant family during a gathering on their technology-free private island. Once there, Hank learns that one of the Grant women is far along in her pregnancy and wants to give birth on the island, despite Hank's reservations. Evan, meanwhile, butts heads with one of the teenage Grant boys, while Jill, back on the mainland, wrestles with hospital politics and her feelings for Hank.
6 If I Were a Sick Man
7/16/09
Hank quarantines guests at a "bark mitzvah" after some come down with a serious disease, which causes him and Jill to debate whether or not to call County Health. Meanwhile, Evan makes a startling discovery about Divya's romantic life, while Jill attempts to keep her relationship with Hank out of the public eye.
7 Crazy Love
7/23/09
Hank and Divya treat a Spanish spitfire involved in an accident whose injuries are more serious then they appear. A dream job offer from Boris brings Jill's childhood friend Katie back to the Hamptons, but tempers flare when Hank learns Boris has been keeping a dark secret. And the arrival of Divya's fiancé causes to her to rethink their relationship.
8 The Honeymoon's Over
7/30/09
Hank unexpectedly takes on a successful children's book illustrator who has a serious heart condition, causing tension between him and Jill. Meanwhile, Divya treats a newlywed with a hard to diagnosis ailment that takes the fun out of his honeymoon plans.
9 It's Like Jamais Vu All Over Again
8/6/09
Hank and Divya attend a lavish equestrian show -- the former as the on-site doctor, the latter as a rider -- where they treat a girl who's fallen off a horse and developed some bizarre symptoms, and whose father Hank believes is hiding something. Divya also treats her own father for a bee sting, and wrestles with whether to come clean about her profession, while the arrival of Jill's ex-husband throws Hank for a loop.
10 Am I Blue?
8/13/09
When Hank learns Tucker's father has a substance abuse problem, he suggests a visit to rehab. But Tucker's father prefers to clean up through an Ultra Rapid Detox program, a risky method that Hank objects to. Meanwhile, Evan tries to drum up business with a local nightclub owner -- which leads to a misunderstanding with an employee that Evan and Divya have to clear up. Hank and Jill attempt to contact Boris, who has fled to New York.
11 Nobody's Perfect
8/20/09
While in New York to learn more about Boris' mysterious disease, Hank discovers the Gardner family is attempting to strip him of his medical license. Divya and Evan are faced with a medical emergency on board the yacht of a reclusive millionaire, while Jill tussles with her ex-husband Charlie -- who has returned to work at Hamptons Heritage -- over signing their divorce papers.
