Cut Shoot Kill

Serena Brooks signs on as the star of a horror film. Alabama, the director, has been making films for years with his crew of North Carolina hillbillies, and he is infamous for his realistic style. The location is totally isolated. Alabama resists any attempt by the cast to contact the outside world, but Serena grows suspicious when the other actors start to disappear. Her curiosity leads her to sneak into the editing room where she finds footage of the last film in which it appears that Alabama actually kills the leading lady. Serena escapes into the night, finding more bodies. Alabama traps her in a shed. She kills Alabama. She realizes that it’s not Alabama that she killed. It’s her boyfriend. They used makeup to make him look like Alabama, and they have captured the killing on film. He knocks Serena out. When she wakes up, the crew is gone. Alabama sends her the video of her murdering her boyfriend as blackmail. Serena goes to North Carolina to get even on her own terms.
