About this movie

Life has become one big trap for 32-year-old Willard Stiles. Haunted by the ghost of his dead father, psychologically suffocated by his mother and ridiculed by his co-workers, Willard makes an eerie discovery: he shares a powerful bond with the rats that dwell in his basement. Suddenly, Willard has friends -- hundreds of them! But a storm is brewing, and when tragedy strikes, an unstoppable tide of hungry, merciless rats rampage, seeking vengeance for their friend Willard. Starring Crispin Glover ("Back to the Future," "Charlie's Angels"), Golden Globe-nominee R. Lee Ermey ("Seven," "Full Metal Jacket"), Laura Elena Harring ("Mulholland Dr.," "The Punisher"), and Jackie Burroughs ("Heavy Metal," "Lost and Delirious"). I never had the chance to see all of the original version, but this one is almost as good. I can't wait to see if they remake Ben. The sequel the the original Willard. It was the movie that helped me to fall in love with rats as pets.

Excellent performance by Crispin Glover. This black comedy will have you laughing for all the wrong reasons in a good way. A great metaphor for those plagued by loneliness who find comfort in animals (in this case, rats), and how it can go wrong when trouble is added to the mix, in the form of cat-sized rat named Ben. A recommended watch for those who enjoy black comedies with a twisted story and ending.

Haven't seen this before. But tbh it looks funny/scary. I've seen the trailer though, and I liked the part when Willard said “ they'll do anything I tell them. ” lmao. So yeah I really want to watch this movie.
