Superb dystopian view of what happens in a totalitarian out of control dictatorship. I saw a reviewer mention this movie, and Paul Verhovens other ultra violent movies, provide a study of what a fascist dictatorship is like (Ronny Cox as ruler of Mars). Paul saw first hand , as a child, the REAL violence of Nazi occupation in WW2! Reviewer also thought his movies provided a cathartic/purging effect for Paul's trauma - to deal with the horrors of War no child should ever witness!

I am super thrilled that this is available on Google. This has been a favorite movie of mine since I was a kid. The remake did not do it justice at all. Stick with the original!
