Michael Reiser
Caught this on PBS during the July 50th anniversary of Apollo 11. It was the best Space Race documentary I have ever seen. It traces the race from the beginnings, including Kennedy's promise, through the aftermath of Apollo 11. It even interviews Nikita Kreschev's son for a Russian point of view, and contains a lot of footage I've never seen before. Highly recommended if you're a NASA buff like me.
