I began watching this on the repeat on ABC, and subsequently watched the last two episodes here because I couldn't wait until the last two were aired next week. Worth every penny and I would see it again. See this one--especially, if you are a Dreyfus fan. He still has it after all these years!

Bernie Madoff had value so long as he was "around" for people to hate. Once he went to jail and when he dies; people and his victims continue to suffer from #2 the memory of what happened while #1 picking up the pieces of what they lost.

Pretty sure there R future Madoffs around. What we've learned frm history, is that no one learns from it. As far as, "innocent" loved ones/ friends/ colleagues also paying for the crime... they end up becoming sacrificial lambs... there lies the real punishment. Loved ones suffer. Colleagues outcasted. Friends lose evrythng. Hate is everywhere. We know the devil made the culprit do it (impulse/ no escape/ self-made saint/ end justifies means). But what real excuse do their supporters have?
