When the criminals get into an auto accident, their strange behavior gives them away and they are arrested.

16 E.M.T.

The two 12-year-old boys find themselves in more trouble than they can handle when a Rolls Royce they are "investigating" is stolen by a pair of prison escapees.
18 Off Road
2/2/80
Jon and Ponch take off for the desert to compete in an off-road race. Also in the race, but for different reasons, are two men looking for syndicate gold lost three months before when the plane one was piloting crashed near the racing site. Meredith MacRae, Ramon Bieri and Edd Byrnes guest star.

20 The Strippers
2/16/80
A gang of "strippers" is on the loose: a band of men who go around stripping cars of various parts. Jon and Ponch are baffled as the parts being stolen are not showing up in the usual places. The operation is a slick one: the culprits strip the cars of all their parts, then buy the chassis at an auction and reassemble the car. They own it then sell it for new, legally. All of this segues into Jon and Ponch's skill at sky-diving, and they're able to crack down on a heroin ring that flies the drug into the U.S. from Mexico.
21 Thrill Show
2/23/80
A punk rock group, humorously called "The Bus Boys," is stealing from the patrons of tourist buses to get money for a demo record. And Bonnie plans to leave her job on the force and join up with her former boyfriend, Crazy Ray Conner, the stunt driver with the Joey Chitwood Thrill Show.

23 Dynamite Alley
3/30/80
Dynamite Alley is a stretch of mountain road that drivers are always using as a speed run. When Bonnie has an accident there, she swears she was forced off the road by an Acme Trucking Company truck. Bonnie ultimately realizes that what she saw was a "highway hallucination": She had seen so many Acme Trucking Company logos that, in the panic of the accident, she thought she saw it on the imaginary truck.

A cop show, while at the same time a family show. It's amazing how they can have six seasons of action packed episodes, filling an hour time slot, but only having a gun drawn three times in the entire series! No filth, no gore and grime, just good old fashioned American television before it was all about shooting people and naked women. 5/5 stars

Sideswipe Was Here
March 18, 2017
As soon as I saw this show I fell in love and had to get the DVD. Both my parents grew up with it so they were more then happy to get the four seasons available for me and now we occasionally watch it together. I just love how it portrays that cops are good, not bad. I wish more shows like this were made today instead of all these senseless/no-plot shows around now.
