Since no one at AMC or Google Play will respond to my questions... I'll ask it here. I would LOVE to give an accurate review of this show, but Google Play does not find this show when I search for it, I can only link here from the AMC website. When I get here however there is no "purchase" button available for me to do so. It can't be a Canadian licensing issue because I COULD go purchase it on iTunes perfectly fine. So... until someone responds to my emails... I'm giving this show 1 star. If you can't make your stuff work, at least respond to support emails.

I really like the fight sequences. Some of the best shot martial arts fights produced for tv. AMC is doing the best tv right now if you're a sci-fi / fantasy viewer. Story is a little slow moving but the action sequences make it a must watch.

I've only recently begun the first season, but I am already loving the series. It has a lot of potential. It could do without QUITE so many "whoosh" sounds every time something moves, and razor sounds every time a sword is swung--to some degree they are excellent genre tropes, but they're a bit overdone here. It's a small fault, however, and perhaps a style preferred by some. However, through no fault of the show or its quality, it's very annoying that every real episode is interspersed with special feature episodes. That's not how I want to watch the show, especially my first time through. But that's what I'm stuck doing if I let Google auto-play through the episodes. Some other shows have this problem too. But more and more they are realizing that the special features need to be at the end, leaving the series episodes able to be played back to back.
