well, our son Josh (Act of Killing, etc.) told us to check out Chop Shop, and we watched it while I was recuperating from some med stuff. We loved it. Today, recuperating from more med junk, we tried another of Josh's suggestions - Goodbye Solo. Then we figured we better look up this director, Ramin Bahrani. He's breathtaking. A real artist. 2 fabulous movies - and only 41? In most countries he would be totally renowned. These movies of his are about a slice of life we all know is there and deny any knowledge of. The stories are beautifully told, with fabulous camera work and acting. They are unforgettable. Don't even think of not watching them.
