About this movie

Kate Reddy (Sarah Jessica Parker of SEX AND THE CITY FRANCHISE) is a finance executive who manages the ultimate balancing act between work and her adoring family. With the support of her best friend and fellow working mother Allison (Christina Hendricks of TV's MAD MEN), Kate generally manages to keep her out-of-work husband Richard (Greg Kinnear of LITTLE MISS SUNSHINE), two young children, and colleagues happy. But life gets difficult when she lands a lucrative new account that requires frequent travel, at the same time Richard receives a job offer he can't refuse. Further complicating matters are her ambitious, child-phobic junior associate Momo (Olivia Munn of TV's PERFECT COUPLES) and new business partner Jack (Pierce Brosnan of MAMMA MIA!, JAMES BOND FRANCHISE), who becomes an unexpected source of temptation. Based on the novel by Allison Pearson.

I like Sarah Jessica Parker in Sex and the City...but I'm so glad that I saw this movie because I was on work time and paid to take people to see it and then got reimbursed for the $2 ticket. It's cliche and kind of a snooze fest. Maybe I'd like it if i were a middle-aged mom which I'm glad I'm not.

What a terrible movie, complete waste of time. Characters seem arbitrary and have no chemistry.

The wife loved it. I was bored to death. It made her happy, so that's good enough for me.
