About this movie

15-year-old Oliver Tate (Craig Roberts of JANE EYRE) has two objectives: To lose his virginity before his next birthday, and to smother the flame between his mother (Sally Hawkins of NEVER LET ME GO, MADE IN DAGENHAM) and an ex-lover (Paddy Considine of THE BOURNE ULTIMATUM, IN AMERICA) who has reappeared in her life. Worried that his mom is having an affair, Oliver monitors his parents' sex life by charting the dimmer switch in their bedroom. Meanwhile, he attempts to woo his classmate, Jordana, a self-professed pyromaniac who supervises his journal writing - especially the bits about her. Based on Joe Dunthorne's acclaimed novel, Submarine is a captivating coming-of-age story with an offbeat edge.

Its a great flick if you like odd ball characters like Oliver Tate, and Jordanna (Yasmin). All in you will laugh.

FAVORITE MOVIE EVER! If the beautiful soundtrack does not capture you, the teen awkwardness will. Reminiscing feelings, and romance with slight confusion. Just remember: None of this will matter in less than 10 years.

Really well written movie right here the boy's dialect is very witty and complex for a boy his age which adds a lot to the story. But you follow this boy as he finds the love of his life and loses her. Simple story but extremely well done just absolutely incredible
