About this show

DOOM PATROL reimagines one of DC’s most beloved groups of Super Heroes: Robotman aka Cliff Steele, Negative Man aka Larry Trainor, Elasti-Woman aka Rita Farr and Crazy Jane, led by modern-day mad scientist Niles Caulder aka The Chief. Each member of the Doom Patrol suffered a horrible accident that gave them superhuman abilities, but also left them scarred and disfigured. Traumatized and downtrodden, the team found their purpose through The Chief, coming together to investigate the weirdest phenomena in existence. Following the mysterious disappearance of The Chief, these reluctant heroes will find themselves in a place they never expected to be – called to action by Vic Stone aka Cyborg, who comes to them with a mission that's hard to refuse. Part support group, part Super Hero team, the Doom Patrol is a band of superpowered freaks who fight for a world that wants nothing to do with them.

I hated it! It's too weird, names every episode something patrol, and it's an terrible series I would give it 0 stars if possible. I do like Brendan Fraser as the Robot but other than that, it is an absolute bomb at my house. Even my dad didn't like it. Boo!!!!

Better than the books! I loved the show so much, that I read some of the books... Big mistake. The show will have you laughing, but i'm pretty sure the comic writers were on acid. The books were a cross between DC's The Metal Men and Zap Comics. The show is a great mix of Sci-fi, Horror, and raunchy Comedy. There's some drama tossed in, but it does'nt slow it down. I actually get excited when there's a new episode!

Unexpectedly entertained. This show is extremely unique. There really isn't anything out there like it. Imagine The X-Men with Deadpool's sense of humor mixed with the crazy unpredictability of Doctor Who. The end of every episode will leave you asking "What the hell did I just watch?" But in a good way.
