About this show

Marc Maron has been a comedian for 25 years. He's had his problems. He was an angry, drunk, self involved, twice divorced compulsive mess for most of his adult life, but with the popularity of a podcast he does in his garage and a life of sobriety, his life and career are turning around.

OMG I LOVED ALL FOUR SEASONS, MARC! Thank you for the superb cast. Thank you for honest issues and roles that can inspire me to express honestly. It was great to watch you evolve as a writer, director, and actor. I was sober three weeks when I stumbled onto your podcast. I caught up quickly because at the time I had nothing to do but go to meetings, eat gobs of cake, frosting, nuts, strawberries. I had nothing to do but watch the dishes pile up, watch the ants take over my tiny studio that a friend let me rent for $25 a month. When I moved in with a sober man into his tiny apartment, I waited two times a week for your show. I've changed and you've changed. I purchased on google play, because iTunes doesn't upload as soon, and because iTunes downloads are shitty: the videos crash. Look into that Marc.

Ok this is great! I love that some of these comedians like Marc Maron and Louie C K are doing their comedy and delivering it to us in a visual performance. The way that they see the world and the situations they sometimes get themselves in is just great, of course it is usually greatly exaggerated but it's so funny. I just tweeted @marcmaron and I told him to please not screw it up cause I want more seasons of this. I heard his stand up a little on satellite radio and thought he was funny and then I saw his podcast and never really listened to it (I was too occupied with Stern show and Adam Carolla show) but after Maron went on Stern to promote this IFC show and he was such a good guest on the show I went a head and started listening to WTF and after the Carlos Mensia episodes I was hooked. Marc really is great on his podcast and I now love his IFC show too.
