Friends: The One With All the Breakups

The gang makes--then breaks--a pact to celebrate New Year's Eve without dates. Ross compensates for his loneliness by getting a roommate, a monkey named Marcel.

Ross helps Rachel do laundry and considers the evening a first date. Joey has Monica pose as his new girlfriend, because he wants to get back with the girl he just dumped.

Rachel agrees to be maid of honor at her ex-fiancé's wedding.

Ross seeks solace at a party after a bitter fight with Rachel and ends up in the arms of another woman. First of a two-part episode.

When Rachel discovers that Ross slept with Chloe, she decides to break up with him. Second of a two-part episode.

To Monica's horror, Pete plans to be in an ultimate fight. Phoebe sets Ross up on a date with a woman who used to be bald. BILLY CRYSTAL and ROBIN WILLIAMS make uncredited cameo appearances.

Ross dates Rachel again after unwittingly agreeing to take responsibility for their breakup. Phoebe reconciles with her mother. Monica is stung by a jellyfish.

Chandler has a hard time handling Kathy's new role in a play, in which she pretends to have sex with a handsome man. Rachel is attracted to a customer when she's demoted to personal shopper, and Monica decides that Joey's new, bigger place is built for entertaining.

Gary asks Phoebe to move in with him. Monica and Chandler join Ross and Joey in a game of catch that lasts for hours.

Monica playfully prepares a special Valentine's Day for Chandler, complete with sexy lingerie and racy entertainment. However, Chandler is too shocked to respond favorably after accidentally viewing the wrong videotape: a birthing video meant for Rachel. Meanwhile, Ross has difficulty informing his girlfriend, Mona (recurring guest star BONNIE SOMERVILLE), that Rachel has moved in with him. His scheme to gain Mona's favor with a perfect Valentine's Day date is thwarted when Mona arrives at his apartment unannounced. Also, Phoebe tries to enliven a depressed Joey by bringing him the world's most cheerful dog.
