About this show

Multiple Emmy Award-winner Edie Falco stars in TOMMY as a former high-ranking NYPD officer who becomes the first female chief of police for Los Angeles. A true blue New Yorker, Abigail “Tommy” Thomas uses her unflinching honesty and hardball tactics to keep social, political and national security issues from hindering effective law enforcement in the Southland. Equal parts political, procedural and family drama, TOMMY comes from Paul Attanasio, the creator of BULL and “Homicide: Life on the Street.”

Tommy is an interesting show with Edie Falco playing the new chief of police in Los Angeles. The show has all of the ingredients to be a hit, but somehow they do not yet add up. The show should be much better than is in actuality. Edie Falco is great, but she cannot carry the whole show. I hope they figure out the missing ingredient. Blue Bloods started out rough and somehow found it's way. Let's hope Tommy does the same.

I was deep into episode one on dish network when a huge rain cell as part of a severe front moving through Florida took cbs off air temporarily. Then local affiliate took over Channel 10 Lost picture on Dish Network CBS affiliate channel 10 Tampa due to rain cell blocking satellite signal and local weather reporting on a severe front passing through. I pay for dish, I like your programming. Why must I pay to see the program via the internet in its entirety when I have already paid for it via Dish Network?

My kind of police drama and action. Love seeing women taking charge and in control. There is so much diversity going on here. She was married, has a biracial daughter, lesbian and chief of police in LA. Excellent scripts, do give us more!
