About this show

Reinventing the DC Comics character, the Arrow is not a superhero … but a hero – every bit as dangerous as the criminals he's hunting. After being marooned for five years on a remote island, billionaire Oliver Queen returns home with a mysterious agenda and lethal set of new skills that he uses in a war on crime in this action series.

Most superhero tv shows end up being way too campy. Not arrow! A great gritty take on the green arrow. Tons of action fight scenes with movie like quality to them. Great plot twists. Wonderful acting, directing and writing. Im loving it! **Update** downgraded a star. Arrow is starting to get plunky and on the edge of just plain silly.***Second Update*** I dont think Ill be purchasing another season. Arrow has officially become too silly to watch.

I would've given this show five stars if I didn't know that promethius was the main villian for the new season and Prometheus has nothing to do with green arrow he's one of Batman's villians I'm getting tired of these people putting Batman villains in this show. The next thing you'll know is joker would be the main villain in a season where arrow doesn't become good any more

I am a huge fan of comics and superhero shows. This started off strong and promising in Season 1 and quickly went to crap by middle of Season 2. The amount of angst ridden drama became too much. The plot outside of the actual hero business is like a poorly written soap opera. What happened on the island became a mess quickly as well. I became so disappointed that I stopped watching after Season 2. If they had stuck with the Green Arrow moments this might have been something worth watching.
