The good thing about this show was Agent Cabe Gallo (Robert Patrick) and Director Henrietta "Hetty" Lange (Linda Hunt). The rest of the characters was unmemorable except for Dr. Toby Curtis which can be annoying to viewers. As for the romantic aspect, it's utter nonsense especially Season 4. Speaking of Seasons, the fourth and final season is horrendous. All in all, CBS wasted their time and money on good actors for this malarkey.

The show itself is pretty decent, but when it comes to the plot, it tries too hard to look smart, and this means like most other shows on TV it fails pretty badly on the actual technical level. Of course, for a show mainly based on the technical level, this means plot holes galore. Good if you just want another generic action show with some smart people, but if you're looking for a compelling plot that actually draws from the technical side of things a and doesn't leave plot holes, look somewhere else.

It's somewhat entertaining with the caveat that requires you to suspend your disbelief. There are going to be plot holes, technical portions that are nonsensical, and an inability to corroborate events made by the show with reality in order to confirm its validity. Even with all that said, I guess it could always be worse... watchable, if you stomach a few things.
