I was beyond cynical when I heard the plot setup, but after 3 episodes, I was a devoted, obnoxiously vociferous, very happy fan. The writing, performances, ensemble, and the visual aspects of the show are simply flawless, and I have helplessly laughed out loud during every show (not usual for me with TV.) The thing that puts it over the top for me, tho, is the delicate way they manage to gently lampoon the feelgood family-friendly sitcom, while so clearly loving every minute of it.

A new family moves in and either it's aliens or humans (forgot) in New Jersey and a comedy/chaos come together and you get something out of the ordinary, great show.
