About this movie
Banished to Earth for intergalactic juvenile delinquency, Johnny X and his gang of Ghastly Ones set off in search of a piece of alien technology that could change the fate of the universe forever-- the so-called "resurrection suit." Soon, the extraterrestrial no-goodniks are embroiled in a wacky scheme involving a femme fatale named Bliss, a shifty concert promoter with schemes of his own, and a recently deceased musician who won't let a little decomposition stop him from rocking.

THE GHASTLY LOVE OF JOHNNY X is a fun retro-style hybrid feature film about a gang of juvenile delinquents from outer space that blends1950s sci-fi, melodrama and musicals. In 2012 it made filmmaking history as the final feature to be photographed on the last of Kodak’s 35mm black-and-white Plus-X film stock. The cast includes Will Keenan (Tromeo and Juliet), Creed Bratton (The Office), Reggie Bannister (Phantasm), Kate Maberly (The Secret Garden), Paul Williams (Phantom of the Paradise) and Kevin McCarthy (Invasion of the Body Snatchers) in his final role. It is my wish that JOHNNY X will become a lasting part of your film vocabulary – the stuff that dreams are made of. Enjoy the show!

this had such great potential idea-wise, but it's ruined. totally stupid lame dumb idiotic waste of time and money.
