This movie stole so many ideas. It would have been plagiarism if they weren't stealing from themselves. Call me a hater, but I call it like I see it. If you wanna see a dinosaur version of the lion king and the jungle book, it's recommended. The wa uh the dad dies, mufasa. The little evil trio, the hyenas. The little helpful trio, the vultures. The kid going back to his parents, mowgli. Just watch the original movies, they're better ya? P.S. there is some innuendo meant for adults, and morals are misleading

The pathetic dinosaur's incompetence demands others to help him because they pity him. Instead of a true transformation of character he slides by with minimal effort. The message here is: nut up and remember you can always ask for help. The ultimate test of this dinosaur's grit was being stuck in vines. Disney reduces Pixar's magic to the superficial "child's film" with one dimensional characters.

As I watched I found myself very confused with the plot line. Dinosaurs talking and doing people things but the people acting like dogs? The strange and inappropriate scene of the human and the dinosaur eating hallucinogenic berries; then they go on this fear and loathing like montage of swapping heads and looking strange. My 4 year old daughter said she didn't want to watch it again because it is sad and scary. My 7 year old son said it was too sad and he didn't want to watch it either. A waste of my money
