Friends: The Best of Rachel

During Rachel's birthday party, Chandler accidentally lets it slip that Ross is in love with her.

After Rachel leaves her fiancé at the altar, she moves in with Monica and finds that independence is not so easy, particularly without Daddy's credit cards.

A drunken Rachel is persuaded to call Ross and reveal her feelings for him on his answering machine. Now, Ross must make a decision between her and Julie.

Monica wears Emily's wedding dress. Chandler forces Joey to get treatment for his snoring at a sleep clinic. Rachel scares Joshua away by impulsively proposing marriage.

Rachel and the engaged Ross reminisce separately about when they dated each other. The friends get invitations to Ross' wedding--but not all of them are going. Phoebe cannot attend because of her pregnancy, and Rachel would prefer not to be there to see Ross marry someone else

Rachel accidentally kisses the man interviewing her for a job. Joey becomes obsessed with a woman living in Ross' apartment complex. Phoebe and Gary compete with Monica and Chandler over whose relationship is more fulfilling.

Chandler and Monica tell Joey and Rachel that they want to live together. Monica is hurt that Rachel doesn't react as strongly as Joey. Phoebe tries to find out how Ross really feels about Rachel.

Rachel's 30th birthday prompts the friends to reminisce about their own 30th birthdays.

In the one-hour season finale, Rachel waits in the hospital maternity ward with the anxious Ross. However, numerous other pregnant women are wheeled in while Rachel's painful labor continues. Inspired to conceive a baby of their own, Chandler and Monica search for a private room in which to get romantic. Meanwhile, Phoebe is attracted to a handsome patient, Cliff (recurring guest star EDDIE McCLINTOCK). She asks Joey to pose as his daytime television drama character, Dr. Drake Ramoray, and interrogate Cliff about his background.

When Rachel visits her workplace to show off baby Emma, she is surprised to find a handsome temporary worker, Gavin (DERMOT MULRONEY - "About Schmidt"), who has been doing her job while she was on maternity leave. Their immediate war of wills prompts Rachel to make a rash decision that she could regret. Meanwhile, Joey arranges for Phoebe to get a job as an extra on his daytime drama series, but she wreaks havoc on the set. And, having quit his job, Chandler must get another--fast--because Monica desperately wants a family.
