About this movie

Inspired by Victor Hugo's classic novel, Disney brings the heroic adventures of Quasimodo, the gentle and lonely bell ringer of Notre Dame, to spectacular life. At the urging of his hilarious gargoyle pals Victor, Hugo, and Laverne, Quasimodo leaves the solitary safety of his tower, venturing out to find his first true friend, the gypsy beauty Esmerelda. The most unlikely of heroes, Quasi fights to save the people and the city he loves and, in turn, helps us to see people for who they are, rather than how they appear.

I like the story and themes the movie uses. It shows that even the most fanatical Christians can be evil and under the devil's work, the film has great characters and shows that the most deformed of people are good and kind at heart, Quasimodo is no more a monster than any of us, in fact he's one of the kindest people I've ever seen in any motion picture. Very good movie. 5 stars!

The age on here says that it's for the ages of 9-12 years. I think that's rubbish because this movie has a lot of themes that people 12 and up can began to grasp. For instant this movie goes into more depth about equal and civil rights. I grew up watching this movie and fell in love with it for the movie when I was in middle school for 1. The animation and its style 2. I always thought that Quasi was adorable as he was kind 3. The music is and the songs were well written

I really like this movie it's fun has some really good characters, and has one of the most scariest villains. I definitely think this movie should be PG because of Frollo and some scenes with him. It has a darker theme than other Disney films which is not bad just the rating doesn't make sense. But I think this movie is underrated because it came out a in the Disney Renaissance. People were distracted by all other wonderful Disney movies. That this one was just sweep under the rug.
