About this movie

From Jerry Bruckheimer and Jon Turteltaub comes NATIONAL TREASURE. It's the thrilling, edge-of-your-seat adventure starring Academy Award® winner Nicolas Cage (Best Actor) as Benjamin Franklin Gates. Ever since he was a boy, Gates has been obsessed with finding the legendary Knights Templar Treasure, the greatest fortune known to man. As Gates tries to find and decipher ancient riddles that will lead him to it, he's dogged by a ruthless enemy (Sean Bean) who wants the riches for himself. Now in a race against time, Gates must steal one of America's most sacred and guarded documents -- the Declaration of Independence -- or let it, and a key clue to the mystery, fall into dangerous hands. Heart-pounding chases, close calls, and the FBI turn Gates's quest into a high-stakes crime caper and the most exciting treasure hunt you've ever experienced.

Love this movie I watched it a lot when I was a little kid absolutely love it and I know its late to ask for this but if someone could please and I really mean please say something to the director of this flim to make a third national treasure movie that would be absolutely amazing! For one it would give people something to watch and its definitely a movie people want to see as soon as they hear about there being another movie of it with Nicolas Cage and all the other same main characters in the movie.

I thought the treasure hunting genre was dead after the last Indiana Jones. However, this movie, made before the last Indiana Jones, is pure excellence. The history in the movie is great without feeling like a history lesson, and the action is amazing. Nicolas Cage, one of my favorite actors, is amazing as Ben Gates, and wacky sidekick Riley gives the movie a fresh touch of realism. The heist is impressive, and the filmmakers handled it well. Way to go, Disney!

Nicolas Cage you sun of a B... you have done it again ive never seen such passion conveyed as you have done it here! Ill never forget the amazment i felt when Ben Gates said "we are stealing the declaration of Independence". You have truly cemented yourself as one of the greats of this generation! For those of you who havent seen this movie " We found an engraving on the stem of a 200 year old pipe";)
