After ten years since the series was aired (June 1969 saw the last episode) and countless reruns on syndicated TV, this was a gallant first try in resurrecting the original cast & crew. The story was imaginative & genius, the graphics impressive but with Star *WARS* being in full swing at the time, this just didn't have enough to impress. They made up for this three years later with Wrath of Khan. I enjoy this movie as it recounts the series.
