The X-Files is one the best TV shows to ever grace television. David Duchovny plays FBI Agent Fox Mulder and Gillian Anderson plays FBI Agent Dana Scully. Mulder is a believer of the supernatural and UFOs while Scully is person of science, who is also a doctor. The two solve cases deemed by the FBI as X-Files, unexplained crimes or circumstances that may or may not involve the supernatural. Naturally, Scully was paired with Mulder to debunk his work, but as the show goes on, she realizes the truth maybe out there. The X-Files debuted in the 1990s and became a cultural phenomenon. It lasted for 9 seasons, had 2 Theatrical Feature Films and a new miniseries with the original cast set to debut in 2016. Anderson and Duchovny are simply terrific together and are one of the best pairings in history. Words can't express how much this show influenced television forever and how good this show still is. After all these years, it holds up and if you haven't seen it yet, there is not a better time than the present. Just remember, trust no one.

This show scared the crap out of me as a kid & I loved every moment of it; still do! David Duchovny & Gillian Anderson along with the rest of the cast are a dream team with great acting. X Files has an intriguing storyline and it's THE show that set the stage for so many other paranormal horror shows that attempted to follow in the X-Files footsteps. I think the X Files far surpasses mostly anything I've seen in this genre. I got to meet Gillian Anderson at Comic-Con one year and she's a wonderful lady too

I grew up watching X-Files from my early teens. My mom bought me every season back in the day, and I watched every episode more than once. I was excited to see new seasons. I actually liked it quite a bit. It was slightly different in ways that are hard to pin down. Overall still one of the best shows in existence.
