This series should be required for ALL AMERICANS to view! I'm a US Marine Veteran and watching this show made me feel more proud to have served in our military! Even my family was fully engaged and in tune with the events that played out on, "Black Sunday". Thanks NatGeo and Martha for creating a powerful series!

As an Infantry/ Special Operations veteran of 6 wars/ conflicts in my 30+ year Army career, including Afghanistan and Iraq, this is hands-down the BEST series I've ever seen depicting the reality of intense urban combat in Afghanistan and Iraq. Sure, there are a lot of things we vets notice as "Hollywood" and stuff we know wouldn't happen in the real world, but that's always the case. Overall, though, the series GOT IT as far as nailing the essence of it and the effects on the soldiers. Extremely well done.

Even though I can't help but to pick it apart, still great and gets me choked up.
