What an amazing movie! I was originally hesitant to watch this film at first because I had already gotten to season 4, but nothing substantial was put into the movie to where there would be a noticeable difference if you watched it before or after season 3. Though I would recommend at least watching some of the show, it was totally and utterly enjoyable either way! The animation was lovely as always, supported by the wonderful voice actors. I loved the buildup of the plot and the fight scenes were superb, I would almost even go as far as to say that they were better than in the show; it was awesome getting to see all the students work together and each use their different abilities, especially towards the end!!

Whoever gave it a 1 star is just some dude hating on it because its popular. If there was some genuine criticism than itd be different but its just a 1 star. This movie was an amazing movie from beginning to end. Newcomers could come into the theater and genuinely enjoy the movie without knowledge of the world. Those who do watch the show will enjoy it more since they know more and will get some of the references. Its been awhile since ive been able to say that a movie was worth every cent.

This Movie was so thrilling! Although its awesome, if you are going to watch it, I recommend that you see the anime/manga first so that you can understand the characters, as well as their struggles. If you have not seen the anime/manga, you might not bond with the characters as much as you would if you did.Although if you haven't seen the anime/manga, it will still be a good movie. However, you might misunderstand some things such as the characters attitudes and reactions to certain events. If you want to understand more about the characters before watching it or after, just watch the anime/ read to manga and most of your questions will make sense/
