About this movie

Hailed as the most frightening film since The Exorcist, acclaimed Director Danny Boyle's visionary take on zombie horror "isn't just scary it's absolutely terrifying" (Access Hollywood).

An infirmary patient awakens from a coma to an empty room in a vacant hospital in a deserted city. A powerful virus, which locks victims into a permanent state of murderous rage, has transformed the world around him into a seemingly desolate wasteland. Now a handful of survivors must fight to stay alive, unaware that the worst is yet to come.

This, next to the Romero movies, is one of the best zombie films I've seen! Honestly, it seems like the U.K. is making better zombie movies than us now-a-days with this, Shaun of the Dead, and The Girl With All The Gifts. Maybe we should step back and let them make some more, because that's exactly what I want to see!

This movie is a mixed bag of good, bad, and okay. This is the best zombie outbreak plot I've ever seen and that's due in part to the good design of the infected (the speed at which they turn and how fast they move physically). The movie also does a pretty good job of littering themes about humanity and society beneath it. The cinematography is good at times and not so good in other places. It has that weird haze that some tv and movies just have from that time. I really didn't like the choppy editing. It made it hard to tell what was happening at times and just broke the flow making the scenes feel unnatural. Maybe it was meant to increase the tension but it didn't for me. The pacing also suffered at times. The whole thing felt rushed because he tried to cram so much plot into the movie. Like I said, it's a mixed bag, but I'd recommend it and I would watch it again.

It was an alright movie seemed really unrealistic, and towards the end it kinda gh ot to the point were I didn't know what the heck was going on. Beginning was alright. Was more about people and not zombies. I wouldn't want to watch again
